From nightwear to daywear

The brand SLEEPER – founded by Ukrainian fashion editors Kate Zubarieva and Asya Varetsa –  has changed our way of thinking when it comes to getting dressed. Their SS18 collection has created the “world’s first walking sleep-wear”. It consists of printed and plain linen dresses with a square neckline. This company has shown that sleeper’s pajamas are as good for bed as they are for the streets.

The collection displays the “dresses to chill” idea, making this dress to become a “must have” in your wardrobe. Wearing pajamas as daywear has never looked so good, and the best part is you can keep it simple. Just add some sandals, sunglasses, maybe a purse and you are good to go. If you are looking to go to the beach, the brand proposes you to wear one of their transparent dresses with bare shoulders, with contrasting bathing suits.

“We wanted to create an outfit perfect for all occasions – a sea trip, a party at the bar and a good sleep. Yet still, we’re obsessed with multipurposeness in Sleeper as Kate and I truly love travelling light.” The co-founders told the magazine.

For the first time, the brand is presenting dresses in two different lengths, a mini with fluted three-quarter sleeves and a slightly longer dress with puff sleeves on a soft elastic band, and you’ll be able to find them in red, pale pink, navy and light blue.

This collection has had a great impact on the public. This is what the co-founders had to say about it: “We had a gut feeling that our floral dress would have a big following, as all of our friends were literally demanding to sell it before even our release went out, but we couldn’t really expect it to be so huge. We love seeing our clients wearing it.”
